Chiropractic Services with Dr. Tim
Hedgehog Strong is about improving movement and overall health through chiropractic, exercise, and education. We are passionate about getting people moving, empowering patients, and changing the healthcare experience.
The name, Hedgehog Strong, represents our approach to health and the coalescence of our passion, our skill, and our patients’ needs. It’s a reminder to us and our patients of a very important principle that influences our own personal health choices and our treatment;
The more we eat, move, and think the way we are designed to, the healthier we will be.
We moved our clinic into the gym to forge partnerships with some of the best fitness professionals in the business. We did this because we believe the following to be true;
You, the patient, have the greatest influence on your current and future health.
Massage Services with Kate Kelly
Massage therapy is incredibly useful when recovering from injuries, and a valuable addition to chiropractic treatment.
Like with chiropractic, the quality of the massage therapy matters. This is why we are so happy to have Kate Kelly with her 17 years of experience as part of the Hedgehog Strong team.
Kate began her wellness training at World School of Massage in San Francisco, CA, in
2001 with an emphasis in Deep Tissue and Cranial Sacral Therapy, and has since added Myofascial Release Therapy, and various structural integration techniques.
Kate moved to Portland in 2016, and is now both a Licensed Chiropractic Assistant and Massage Therapist. When not at the office, you can usually find her doing CrossFit, cycling, dog sitting, or shamelessly singing karaoke. She is beyond excited to share her craft and knowledge, and to be a part of the Hedgehog Strong team!
Our services include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercise instruction, kinesio taping, and consulting for other physicians.

“I have been seeing Dr. Tim for nearly six years. Throughout that time, I’ve run thousands of miles training for marathons and road races all over. In 2014, I twisted my ankle running on a trail. It put me out for nearly four weeks. When the swelling finally receded, and the ankle was ready to be road tested once again, Dr. Tim gave me the adjustment of a lifetime, to reset my talus and restore my ankle and foot into excellent, competitive condition.” -Tony D.
“I have had pain in my right shoulder since highschool. I have avoided and avoided and avoided it… Then the pain just increased and got consistent and worse at night… I started seeing various LMT, Chiropractic etc… but with only temporary relief. I visited Dr. Tim and within minutes he effectively diagnosed and began working on the problem. I can’t believe how I have lived in pain so long now that I’m NOT in pain!” -Cody B.
“I injured myself pretty badly during a workout and Dr. Tim was there immediately to help me out. I have never worked with someone who cared so much about how I was personally doing and who went out of their way time and time again to ensure I was feeling better. Within a week I was feeling 100 times better. If you want to work with someone who truly cares about your well being and fixing you for the long term than I would recommend Dr. Tim above all.” -Rachel H.
“I have been to many chiropractors over the past 20 years, and Dr. Tim is by far one of the best I have seen. While chiropractic training in general is extensive, it is Dr. Tim’s continued education/studies, as well as passion and compassion for his patients that makes him stand out. He not only cares about seeing his patients heal, but also wants to see them thrive in their ability to move and enjoy life. I am truly grateful for the care I have received from him.” -Anette H.
“I started seeing Dr. Tim because the pain in my hip was taking the enjoyment out of running and restricting my miles. After a couple of adjustments and a series of therapeutic exercises, the pain has gone away and I can run for fun again.” -Judith S.
“I worked with Tim to assist with a hip/lower back injury from falling off the pull up bar at the gym. Tim was able to diagnose my issue and with one visit I was able to resume my regular workouts. He was also kind enough to give me some exercises I could do on my own to help accelerate the healing process.” -Marv N.
“I have had problems with my hip for as long as I can remember, and eventually it led to me having to quit my sport in college. Everyone I went to told me that the problem was going to be there for life and that I should just get used to having limited movement there. Working with Tim has been amazing. He is thorough and truly wants to help, and my hip pain and stiffness as dramatically improved since I started going to see him. He takes so much time and care to assess each person individually, and is very committed to figuring out a solution for me personally. It is very obvious that he treats every client as an individual with their own unique physiology, and his goal is to get to the root of each person’s problem. I can’t say enough good things about Tim, Hedgehog Strong, and all that he has done.” -Carina P.
